How Our Pricing Works

At Midnight Element, we believe in clarity, craftsmanship, and straightforward communication.

Our rate is $125 per hour with a $100 shop minimum, and your final price is shaped by the size, placement, detail, and style of your piece. The guide above provides a reliable average range to help you plan with confidence.

While we do work hourly, we aim to price most tattoos by the piece so you have a clear understanding of your investment before we begin. Larger projects—such as sleeves, back pieces, or multi-session designs—are best suited for our half-day and full-day rates, allowing you to settle in and focus on the artwork rather than the clock.

Our bookable designs are offered at a flat rate when done at the intended size and placement shown. If you’d like to increase the size, change the placement, or adapt the design beyond its original scope, the price may increase to reflect the additional time and detail involved.

Every tattoo is unique, and these ranges serve as a thoughtful starting point. We can also break larger tattoos into sessions, so you never have to complete everything at once. If you’re working within a budget, we’re happy to plan your project in a way that fits—so long as expectations remain realistic for the size and detail you’re looking for.
